Jeremiah 49:4-6

⁴ How ^(A)boastful you are about the valleys!
Your valley is flowing away,
O ^(B)faithless daughter
Who trusts in her ^(C)treasures, saying,
‘^(D)Who will come against me?’
⁵ Behold, I am going to bring ^(E)dread upon you,”
Declares Lord Yahweh of hosts,
“From all around you;
And each of you will be ^(F)banished ^[a]headlong,
With no one to gather the ^(G)one who flees.
⁶ But afterward I will ^[b](H)return
The ^[c]fortunes of the sons of Ammon,”
Declares Yahweh.
